Been driving the 2024 Transit for deliveries all week. The Delivery Assist feature is actually useful, saves a bit of time with all the locking and unlocking, but kinda feels more like a nice-to-have than essential. Cargo space works for most jobs but could be bigger, some of the competitors fit more, especially if you’re running really bulky stuff. Doors open wide, though, and loading isn’t much hassle. Tech is solid, especially that digital dash, but I’m not fussed about connecting my phone to all the fancy 5G stuff, just want good radio and sat-nav. Price is high, higher than some other vans, but servicing isn’t gouging me, and it’s holding up fine so far. Got some rattles already, but nothing major.

After spending a week with the latest Ford Transit, what stood out was its handling; it's quite responsive for a vehicle of its size. While the payload capacity is commendable, it slightly falls short of a couple of competitors in the market. Additionally, the variety of engine configurations does provide adaptability to various jobs. The interior setup is functional, although the open dashboard storage could use a cover for better security.

Last month, I drove the Ford Transit for long-haul deliveries. The van’s cabin ergonomics were excellent, making it a pleasant drive even for extended periods. The handling impressed me, particularly on twisty roads where the response was predictable. Yet, I found the lack of rear camera as a standard feature slightly inconvenient.

I had the chance to use the Ford Transit for a medium delivery task, which lasted a week. The storage space was more than ample, accommodating all my goods efficiently. The driving comfort stood out; it felt like I was in a compact SUV rather than a large van. However, the fuel efficiency, while reasonable, wasn’t exceptional for its class in my opinion.

I have worked with Ford, and in my driving experience, it has been the worst. There have been constant issues with the clutch, suspension, and overall there is a consistent rattling and creaking. And this is on a brand new car from the dealership! The warranty service department was already familiar with me, and if not me, then definitely my Ford.
